Re(a)d & Green Eco-Friendly Bookends
Opening Reception: 3rd Friday November 16, 2007 6-9pm

Now that Paris Hilton has switched to environmentally friendly light bulbs, MADE feels it's time to jump on the celebrity bandwagon. We have challenged local artists to go GREEN and come up with a pair of eco-friendly bookends- our latest in a series of artist-themed exhibitions.
Participating artists include: Kjellgren Alkire, Cyndi Coon, John Ebinger, Cheryle Marine, Lisa Marie Sipe, Joe Willie Smith and Kate Timmerman.
Bookends will be on display until Saturday December 29, 2007.
3rd Annual Ornament Exhibtion
Opening Reception: 1st Friday December 7, 2007

MADE art boutique is inviting Arizona artists to create a holiday ornament to benefit arts programmming in the Phoenix Elementary School District. All submissions are welcome. Students from the local school district will be creating ornaments as well. Each ornament will be sold at MADE and all net proceeds from the holiday ornaments will go to the Phoenix Elementary School District to support arts programming.
The Phoenix Elementary School District, established in the Churchill Addition, has been serving kindergarten through eighth grade students since 1871. MADE hopes to increase proceeds for arts education for deserving students in this district that serves families living in our neighborhood.
Any type of holiday ornament may be submitted. Each ornament should be functional and light enough to easily dangle from a small tree branch or string.
Ornaments can be delivered to MADE art boutique between December 1-6, 2007.
Ornament sale begins at 5pm on First Friday December 7, 2007 and will continue through the month of December. Support the Phoenix Elementary School District and go home with a one of a kind ornament!
